Arla Day is the Canada Research Chair and Professor ofIndustrial/Organizational Psychology at Saint Mary'sUniversity, Canada. She is a fellow of the Canadian PsychologicalAssociation, and she is a founding member of both the CN Centre forOccupational Health and Safety and the Centre for LeadershipExcellence, Canada. She chairs the Psychologically HealthyWorkplace Award committee in Nova Scotia, Canada, which recognizesorganizations for their commitment to the health and safety oftheir employees. She is Associate Editor for the Journal ofOccupational Health Psychology. Her research and consultingfocus on occupational health psychology, stress and well-being,healthy workplaces, work-life interface, and workplaceinterventions.
E. Kevin Kelloway is the Canada Research Chair inOccupational Health Psychology and a Professor of Psychology atSaint Mary's University, Canada. He is a fellow of theAssociation for Psychological Science, the Canadian PsychologicalAssociation, and the Society for Industrial & OrganizationalPsychology. In addition to serving on several editorial boards, heis Associate Editor of Work & Stress, section editor forStress & Health, and associate editor for the Journalof Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance. He haspublished over 150 articles, chapters, and reports and hasauthored/edited 13 books. He maintains an active consultingpractice in areas related to occupational health psychology andhuman resource management.
Joseph J. Hurrell, Jr. is an Adjunct Professor ofPsychology at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Canada, andan affiliate of the Canadian National Centre for OccupationalHealth and Safety. He is the current Editor of the Journal ofOccupational Health Psychology, which he cofounded. Prior tohis current appointments, he was employed for over 30 years as aresearcher and administrator by the U.S. Center for Disease Controland Prevention's National Institute for Occupational Safetyand Health (NIOSH). He has authored over 100 scientificpublications and 8 books, serves on the advisory boards of majorU.S. occupational health and safety research and educationprograms, and is internationally recognized for his work.
