Dr. Rakesh Bhaskar an Assistant Professor (International Faculty Member)-Polymers & Biomaterials in the School of Chemical Engineering at the Yeungnam University in Gyeongsan, South Korea. He received Ph.D. in the field of Neuroendocrine from Allahabad University India. Then move to NIT Rourkela, as a post-doctoral fellow, during this tenure he worked on tissue engineering and regenerative medicine area. He has published more than 40 scientific papers in SCI/SCIE-grade journals and also published 5 book chapters and has more than 600 citations with an h-index of 12. He is also a reputed reviewer for several peer-reviewed international journals. His research interests are in stem cells, cardiac regeneration, tissue engineering, cultured meat production, and In-vitro spermatogenesis.

Dr. Santosh Kumar is currently working as an Associate Prpfessor in Department of Chemistry, Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur, India. He also served as Research Professor in Department of Organic and Nano System Engineering, Division of Chemical Engineering, Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Kumar received his B.Sc, M.Sc. in Chemistry and D. Phil. in Organic Chemistry from University of Allahabad, India. He worked as a Research Associate (CSIR) at Department of Chemistry, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. He was awarded CAS-TWAS Postdoctoral fellowship in 2008 and worked in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun, China. Later he joined as a KU Brain Pool Professor and researcher at the Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea (2010-2013). He was awarded FCT Postdoctoral Fellowship 2012; worked in Chemistry Centre, University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal (2013-2017). During his career, Dr. Kumar has published a more than 115 research papers, 3 international patents, edited 4 books and 19 book chapters. He also served as a member of different organizing committees and an editorial board member and reviewer at a number of scientific journals. Current research interest involves source apportionment of chemical modification, optical and biological properties of chitosan biopolymer for biomedical applications, hydrogel, aerogel, nanomaterials, drug & gene delivery and Environmental chemistry.

Dr. Mukesh Kumar Gupta is a Professor of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has earned his PhD in interdisciplinary Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Information Technology from the Department of Advanced Fusion Technology at Konkuk University, South Korea in the Year 2007. He had served as Assistant/Associate Professor in the College of BioSciences and BioResources at Konkuk University (South Korea) and as Participating Faculty at the Institute of Biomedical Science and Technology (South Korea) during 2007-2011. He has also been visiting scientist to Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal), Warsaw Institute of Technology (Poland), and University of Malaysia (Malaysia). Currently, he is continuing as a Professor of Biotechnology and Medical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has more than 15 years of research and teaching experience, has published more than 85 publications in various SCI-indexed journals and has 17 patents to his credit. He has also written more than 15 book chapters and has edited one book. He is/was Editorial Board Member of 8 international journals and Reviewer for several peer-reviewed SCI-indexed journals. He is a founding member of the Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE) and is a nominated Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (UK), Society of Applied Biotechnology (India), and Academy of Environment and Life Sciences (India).
