Mohamed Aly Hassaan is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF) in Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Hassaan holds a Master’s degree (2011) and a Ph.D. (2017) in Chemical Oceanography and Marine Pollution. He also lectured on marine science and environmental topics at Port Said University. In 2018, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Bari University, Italy. Dr. Hassaan has participated in multiple oceanographic expeditions, including those hosted by NIOF and Italy's National Research Council (CNR). Dr. Hassaan has completed specialized training courses at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands (2015 and 2016) and was a visiting fellow at CNR in 2014 and 2017. His prolific academic output includes co-authoring several publications, accumulating over 1,600 citations on Scopus. His research interests encompass advanced oxidation techniques (ozonation, sonication, ultraviolet), wastewater treatment, nanotechnology, biogas and biofuel energy production, monitoring of inorganic and organic pollutants, and the classification of Mediterranean minerals using PSA, FTIR, and XRD techniques. Dr. Hassaan is committed to pioneering innovative green technologies for pollutant treatment and sustainable energy production.

Kingsley Eghonghon Ukhurebor is a Senior Lecturer/Researcher and the immediate past acting head of the Department of Physics and acting director of sports at Edo State University, Iyamho, Nigeria. He is also a Research Fellow at the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), Competence Centre, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, a climate institute sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany. He was awarded his PhD in Physics Electronics by the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria; his MSc in Physics Electronics by the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria; his PGD in Education by Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria; and his BSc in Applied Physics by Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria. He is a member of several learned academic organizations, such as the Nigerian Young Academy (NYA), the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP), the Materials Science and Technology Society of Nigeria (MSN), the Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), etc. His research interests include applied physics, climate physics, environmental physics, telecommunications physics, and materials science (nanotechnology). He serves as an editor and reviewer for several reputable journals and publishers, including Springer Nature, Elsevier, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the Institute of Physics (IOP), Taylor & Francis, John Wiley & Sons, the IEEE, MDPI, Frontiers Media SA, Hindawi, etc. and he acts as a supervisor and examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has authored or co-authored several publications with these reputable journals and publishers. He is currently ranked among the top 50 authors in Nigeria by Scopus scholarly output and is listed among the top 2% of scientists in the world by Stanford University, USA, and Elsevier. His hobbies include reading and playing/watching football. He is a Christian and is happily married with a family.

Uyiosa Osagie Aigbe is a former Research Fellow with the Department of Mathematics and Physics, Faculty of Applied Science, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa, and currently a Research Associate with the Center for Space Research, North-West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa, the National Institute of Theoretical and Computational Science, Johannesburg, South Africa as well as the School of Chemistry & Physics, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg Campus, Scottsville, South Africa. He obtained his PhD degree in physics from the prestigious University of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa. He is currently a member of several learned academic organizations. His research interests are in applied physics, nanotechnology, fluid dynamics, water purification processes, image processing, environmental physics, machine learning, statistical analysis, and materials science. He has also served as a reviewer and editor for numerous highly regarded publishers, such as Elsevier, Springer Nature, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the Institute of Physics (IOP), Taylor & Francis, Frontiers Media SA, MDPI, and Hindawi, and has authored or co-authored several research publications. His hobbies are reading, swimming, and playing/watching football. He is a Christian and is happily married with a family.

Robert Birundu Onyancha is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher working full-time at the Department of Technical and Applied Physics, at the Technical University of Kenya. He also a Research Associate with the Department of Physics, University of South Africa, South Africa. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of South Africa. He is a registered member of various research bodies and has authored and co-authored research papers that have been published in reputable and accredited international journals. His current research interests include water treatment technologies, condensed matter physics, and nanotechnology. He is a reviewer of highly reputable journals and publishers.

Amr Gamal Dardeer is a distinguished chemistry specialist with a focus on environmental monitoring and water quality. He previously served as the manager of the Administration of Environmental Monitoring at the Alexandria Health Directorate, part of Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population. In this role, he oversaw public health protection initiatives through effective environmental management. In addition to his governmental duties, Dr. Gamal manages the inorganic chemistry laboratory at the Environmental Measurements Company (EMCO), where he leads efforts to assess water quality and soil health. His expertise is essential for ensuring compliance with environmental standards and promoting sustainable practices. Dr. Gamal earned his Master’s degree in 2012 and completed his Ph.D. in 2019, enhancing his research and knowledge in chemistry. His contributions have earned him respect in both academic and professional circles, where he continues to advance environmental health in Egypt.

Marwa Ramadan Elkatory is a chemist at the City of Scientific Research and Technology Application (SRTA city) in Alexandria, Egypt, where she has been a dedicated research member since 2009. Dr. Elkatory holds a Master’s degree (2012) and a Ph.D. (2017) in Microbiology and Organic chemistry. Her prolific academic output includes co-authoring three book chapters, and 31 research articles, accumulating over 686 citations on Scopus. Her research interests encompass genetic engineering, bioplastic, biopolymers, additives engine, cold flow improvers for petroleum crude oil wastewater treatment, nanotechnology, biodiesel, biogas, biofuel energy and green hydrogen production, Dr. Elkatory is committed to pioneering innovative green technologies for industrial problems and sustainable energy production.

Dr. Kenneth Atoe hold B.Sc ad M.Sc in Biochemistry from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma and University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, respectively. He also obtained Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery and a PhD in Phytomedicine from University of Benin, Benin City. Dr. Atoe is the current Acting Provost of the College of Medical Sciences, Edo State University Uzairue. Dr. Atoe loves to research and write, with review and editorship experience with numerous international publications. He has been featured as an invited speaker for reputable associations and bodies. He volunteers as a reviewer for many double-blind peer review journals, hosted by reputable publishers. He is well published, with scores of research articles to his credit in peer-reviewed journals and platforms. Dr. Atoe loves listening to music, travelling to new places, and meeting new people. He is married to Mrs. Wisdom Atoe and is blessed with 3 children.

Ahmed El Nemr is a full Professor of Chemistry at the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF). One of Dr. El Nemr’s interests is exploring new approaches for synthetic methodologies in carbohydrate chemistry and the synthesis of natural compounds, the isolation of some natural compounds from marine algae and tested for their use as antivirals and anti-corrosion, the synthesis of cellulose acetate using new methods. Dr. El Nemr has also studied the preparation of membranes for desalination and wastewater treatment, quantum chemical calculations for deducing the reaction mechanism of new reactions and to examine the “quantum structure-activity relationship”, the development of novel activated carbon from agricultural waste, the removal of textile dyes, organic pollutants and heavy metals from water using macroalgae, activated carbon, biochar, hydrogel and agricultural wastes, synthesizing metal nanocomposites and photodegradation studies for wastewater treatment. Biogas, biomethane and hydrogen generation using nanomaterials and visible light. The distribution of petroleum hydrocarbons, pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, and heavy metals in the sea has been investigated, and these have been linked to pollution and environmental aspects. Stanford University has ranked Dr. El Nemr within 2% of Scientists worldwide for six consecutive years. He has supervised and refereed several Master and PhD theses. Dr. El Nemr is a permanent referee in dozens of international journals and is a Co-editor and reviewer for several reputable publishers. He has published 10 international books and more than 240 international research papers in various fields.
