Dr. Nurhidayah Muhammad Hashim is the Associate Professor at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. She graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia, with a PhD in the area of comparative Family Law. She obtained her Master in Shariah and Law from the University of Malaya (UM), Bachelor of LL.B (Shariah Law) (Hons) and LL.B (Hons) from the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM). Her research interests involve family law relating to women and children, Islamic economics, Islamic civilization, Islamic law, human rights and Islamic education. She has published five books, a number of journal articles, proceedings and chapters in books relating to her research interests. She is one of the editors of the Journal of Contemporary Islamic Studies (JCIS) and the head of Islamic Family Law Unit at the faculty.

Dr Nur Nafhatun Md Shariff is a senior lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam. She obtained her PhD in Science and Technology-Sustainability, Master in Science & Technology Studies and Bachelor in Islamic Astronomy from the Universiti of Malaya (UM). Currently she holds several positions as the Coordinator of the Research Management Unit (RMU) and the Liaison Officer at the Malaysian Research Assessment (MyRA) Unit. She is one of the editorial board members for the Journal of Contemporary Islamic Studies (JCIS), Senior Fellow at the Centre for Human Rights and Advocacy (CENTHRA) and a member of the Malaysian Islamic Astronomy Society. Recently she was appointed as an Associate Fellow at the Institute of Science (IOS), Malaysia.

Siti Fatahiyah Mahamood is a lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies at the University Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam. She graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with a Bachelor in Arabic Language and Revealed Knowledge, and obtained her Master of Science in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Her research interests involve Islamic revealed knowledge, medical ethics, information management, Islamic education, and halal issues in Malaysia and international industries. She has published several papers in refereed journals and is actively involved in academic presentations in local and international conferences. Currently she holds several positions as the Corporate Coordinator at the UiTM and Committee member of the Malaysian Institute of Wasatiyyah, Malaysian Prime Minister Office. She also shares her idea and expertise in management and strategic planning for several institutions including the Restu Foundation Malaysia and the Nasyrul Quran Institution, Malaysia.

Dr Azri Bhari is a senior lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), University Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. He obtained his Degree in Islamic Jurisprudence, Master in Shariahand PhD in Islamic Studies from the Universiti of Malaya (UM). Currently he is the Students Affairs (HEP) coordinator at the faculty and the Fellow at the Zakat Research Institute (IKAZ).

Hanifah Musa Fathullah Harun is a lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam. She obtained her Bachelor in Shariah Law from the Universiti of Al- Azhar, Egypt and Master in Islamic Jurisprudence- Fiqh and Usul from the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM). She has been actively involved in a number of innovation competitions and has published several articles in indexed journals, proceedings and book chapters in her areas of interest.

Mohd Solahuddin Shahruddin is a lecturer at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam. He obtained his Bachelor in Islamic Studies-Usuluddin and Master of Arts in Islamic Studies (Usuluddin) from the University of Malaya(UM). Currently, he is the Industrial Training Coordinator at the faculty and the Editorial Manager for the e-Journal at the Zakat Research Malaysia Institute.
