Rajawat, Jyotika
Jyotika Rajawat, PhD, researches in the field of cancer and drug discovery. She has a rich experience of 8 years in cancer research and teaching. Her postdoctoral research at CHUQ Research Centre, Canada, followed by research projects at National Centre for Cell Science (Pune), CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute (Lucknow), India has established a novel role of PARP1 protein in cancer progression. She has written several research articles, three book chapters, and newspaper articles. She is a member of the Editorial Board, IJBST journal and is a reviewer for various international publishers. She has been the recipient of several awards including DBT Bio-CARe and DST Women Scientist Award (awarded by the Govt. of India). She is also passionate about conducting cancer awareness workshops and literacy camps for the underprivileged especially in the rural areas. Dr. Rajawat being an expert in cancer biology understands the needs of readers and writes with those needs in mind.
