Das, Bhagaban
Bhagaban Das is dean of Business Studies and Commerce in Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, a state university established by the Government of Odisha. A national scholarship awardee throughout his career, Professor Das stood second in MCom Examination in Utkal University (1982). As a luminous teacher, he has more than three decades of teaching experience both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition to authoring 21 books, which are widely appreciated by readers, he has published more than 50 research papers both in national and international journals. Fifteen scholars have already been awarded PhD under his guidance, and 8 more are still working at present for the purpose. He is as an active member of the Indian Accounting Association, the Indian Commerce Association as well as the All Odisha Commerce Association. His current areas of interest include environmental accounting and financial literacy. Currently, he is the director of Distance and Continuing Education and a member of the syndicate.

Shil, Nikhil Chandra
Nikhil Chandra Shil is working as an assistant professor of East West University, one of the top-ranked private universities in Bangladesh. He is also working as consultant academic affairs of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), the only national institute of Bangladesh taking care of CMA profession. He holds BBA and MBA degrees with concentration in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, number one public university in Bangladesh. He is a Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) of the ICMAB. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is also a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA) certified by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy UK, the only professional institute in the world taking care of public finance management. Mr Shil has long experience with university teaching in both graduate and undergraduate programmes. In his career, he has published as many as 70 research papers, mostly in international journals. He has also authored numerous texts, research monographs, working papers, conference papers, book chapters and edited books. His research area covers management accounting practices, management control, emerging issues in accounting, public finance management and behavioural research in accounting.
