Prof. (Dr.) Nihal Anwar Siddiqui is Director of Centre of Excellence, Occupational Health, Safety, Fire, and Environment, at GD Goenka University. Dr. Siddiqui specializes in the areas of safety management, occupational health and safety, environmental pollution, environmental monitoring, and control techniques. He did some of the pioneer works in odour monitoring and providing control technology along with Finland scientist. He was also associated with Health, Safety, and Environment Dept. of ICEM College, Muscat, Oman, which is affiliated to University of Central Lancashire, UK. He is an approved tutor to teach international certificate courses like IOSH, NEBOSH UK. He has received several awards during his 28 years of career.
Dr. F. I. Khan is Mike O'Connor II Chair Professor and Director of Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. He is also Director of Ocean Energy Safety Institute (OESI), the US Department of Energy, and the US Department of interior-funded applied R&D initiative. He is former Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier I) of Offshore Safety and Risk Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He is Founder of the Centre for Risk Integrity and Safety and Engineering, which has more than 100 research members. His research interest areas include offshore safety, drilling safety, extreme event modelling, asset integrity, and risk engineering. He is Recipient of the many national and international awards. He is actively involved with multinational oil and gas industries on the issue of safety, risk, and asset integrity.
Dr. Salim Ahmed is serving as Professor in the Department of Process Engineering and Director of the Centre for Risk, Integrity, and Safety Engineering (C-RISE) at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Before joining Memorial University, he taught at Qatar University and Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). Dr. Ahmed received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemical Engineering from BUET and Ph.D. in Process Control from the University of Alberta. Dr. Ahmed serves as Associate Editor of Control Engineering Practice, Associate Editor of Journal of the Franklin Institute, and Editorial Board Member of Process Safety Progress.
Prof. S. A. Abbasi was Full University Professor and Centre Director during 1987–2015 and has been Emeritus Professor since then. Prior to it, he was Head-in-Charge of the Water Quality & Environment Division at the Centre for Water Resources, Kozhikode (1979-87) and Visiting-Cum-Adjunct Professor at California State University (1984–1987). He was also Visiting Professor at the universities of Minnesota, Florida, California-Berkeley, Malaya, and Al-Ahsa. With 49 books, more than 400 papers in indexed journals, 10 patents, 22,000+ citations, and a h-Index currently at 80, Prof Abbasi is among the world’s foremost experts in the fields of process safety and environmental engineering. In the recent Stanford University study, he was ranked among the world’s top 0.5% scientists, and the latest AD Scientific rankings put him among the India’s top two in environmental science and engineering.
Dr. B. P. Yadav is working as Professor and Cluster Head with the Sustainability Cluster (Earlier known as HSE and Civil Engineering Department), UPES, Dehradun. He has more than 19 years of experience. He has a B. Tech. (Safety and Fire Engineering), MBA (Safety and Environment), M. Tech. (HSE), and Ph.D. (HSE Engineering) along with a few other certificates and diplomas in HSE and other fields. He is Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, India, and holds a few membership and qualifications, such as TSP (BCSP, USA), CEngg (IEI, India), and Graduate Engineer Fire (UK).  In his credits, there are 70 research papers in national and international publishers along with 3 books and 8 patents (04 granted/04published). He got an opportunity to work with various companies under Delhi Metro Rail Projects.
