The book follows up on the successful title Statistical Analysis of Social Science Data through SPSS (Masaryk University, 2019). The book introduces the reader to selected advanced statistical techniques used in the social sciences. Specifically, the book deals first with structural equation models (specifically path analysis and confirmatory factor analysis), then with multilevel models (linear and nonlinear) and finally with procedures for processing categorical data (correspondence analysis and latent class analysis). The basic calculations are performed in the book in IBM SPSS Statistics and IBM SPSS AMOS, and accompanied web page contains in addition also other materials, specifically analysis procedures in other statistical programs (MPlus, JASP or R) The materials on the accompanying website will be further supplemented, partly according to the requirements of readers.
