Prof. Bingbo Wei is Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in the solidification technology of metal materials and space materials science research. His team has designed and developed experimental systems for supernormal solidification of metal materials featuring electromagnetic levitation, ultrasonic suspension, electrostatic suspension, pneumatic suspension, melt immersion flotation, and free fall and has published more than 400 academic papers. He won the second prize of the National Invention Awards and the second prize of National Prize for Natural Sciences.

Prof. Yuanyuan Li, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, has long been engaged in the basic application and engineering research of powder metallurgy and non-ferrous alloy material preparation, forming theory and technology. He has won 2 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress and 4 first prize of provincial science and technology awards. He presided over and participated in a number of national projects, authorized 103 invention patents.

Prof. Jianxin Xie, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, is mainly engaged in the research of metal controlled solidification and controlled forming, advanced composite material preparation and processing, intelligent material preparation and processing technology as well as metal extrusion theory and technology.

He has won 1 second prize of the National Invention Awards, 2 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress, 2 international academic awards, and several other provincial prizes. Besides, he serves as Editor in Chief of , and serves as Associate Editor of .
