Medy Dervovic is a Researcher at the Stefansson Arctic Institute. He is also a doctoral candidate at Reykjavík University researching the (normative) impact of climate change on the law of the sea in the Arctic.

Gudmundur Alfredsson is Senior Associate with the Stefansson Arctic Institute in Akureyri and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal on Minority and Group Rights (Brill, 2000-). He chaired the UN Working Group on Minorities (2006) and the expert meetings that drafted the OSCE/HCNM Lund Recommendations (1998-99).
