Über Autor(innen)

Pierre-Richard Agénor is Hallsworth Professor ofInternational Macroeconomics and Development Economics at theUniversity of Manchester, and co-director of the Centre for Growthand Business Cycle Research. His research interests includeinternational macroeconomics, development economics, and growththeory. He has published widely in leading professional journalsand is the author of several best-selling books, includingDevelopment Macroeconomics (with Peter Montiel) and TheEconomics of Adjustment and Growth.
Alejandro Izquierdo is Senior Economist in the ResearchDepartment of the Inter-American Development Bank and a formereconomist at the World Bank. His current research focuses oninternational finance and open-economy macroeconomics, with aparticular interest in the analysis of sudden stops in capitalflows.
Henning Tarp Jensen is Assistant Professor and member ofthe Development Economics Research Group (DERG) at the Institute ofEconomics, University of Copenhagen. He has a well-establishedpublication record within the area of computable generalequilibrium modeling and a long-standing research interest in low-and middle-income countries, including Mozambique and Vietnam, aswell as Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, and Turkey.
