Iron Oxide-Based Nanomaterials: From Fundamentals to Emerging Applications provides a detailed description of iron oxide nanomaterials, their synthesis, and characterization, while also exploring a wide range of applications of iron oxide nanocomposites and nanomaterials in different fields, including energy, sensing, environmental remediation, biomedical, and enzymes. The book provides all the necessary basic information about iron-oxide-based nanomaterials, including structural aspects, synthesis-to-structure relationships, and applications of these materials in various areas. It also explains the different synthesis parameters that control the surface morphology, crystallinity, and activity of iron oxides desirable for different applications. Starting with an initial section on fundamentals, the book then focuses the following three sections on the key application area of these particles: energy, biomedicine, and the environment.
