Kaplan S. Basniev, PhD, is a well-known specialist in theoil and gas industry with over 50 years of experience. He has heldnumerous high-level positions in the field throughout his career,including heading the Oil and Gas Section of the Russian Academy ofNatural Sciences for 15 years. He has 240 publications, 15monographs, and numerous medals and awards to his name.
Nikolay M. Dmitriev, PhD, is a specialist in the area offluid flow with many years of experience and publications under hisbelt. He is the head of the Department of International Educationand Cooperation at the Ministry of Education and Science of theRussian Federation.
George V. Chilingar, PhD, is an Emeritus Professor ofEngineering at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.He is one of the most well-known petroleum geologists in the worldand the founder of several prestigious journals in the oil and gasindustry. He has published over 70 books and 500 articles and hasreceived over 100 awards over his career.
