This book examines the role of nanotechnology in advancing cancer treatment, focusing on phytochemicals derived from natural sources and their therapeutic delivery through nanotechnology. The initial chapters provide an overview of cellular and molecular mechanisms of cancer and present both passive and active targeting strategies to enhance the effectiveness of phytochemical-loaded nanosystems. The chapters also explore the nano-delivery systems tailored for potent anticancer agents such as camptothecin, berberine, paclitaxel, and many more. These molecules improve the bioavailability, stability, and efficacy of these bioactive compounds, addressing the latest innovations for agents like hesperidin, thymoquinone, epigallocatechin gallate, quercetin, and curcumin. The book also investigates the co-delivery of natural and conventional anticancer drugs, exploring potential synergies in cancer therapy. In addition, the chapters focus on nano-delivery systems for essential oils, carotenoids, and phytomolecules targeting drug-resistant cancer cells, and the role of natural compounds in cancer prevention.  Key Features:

- Provides foundational insights into the cellular and molecular mechanisms of cancer

- Explores innovative nano-delivery systems for natural anti-cancer agents from phytoconstituents

- Discusses passive and active targeting strategies for phytochemical-loaded nanosystems

- Highlights the therapeutic potential of nano-formulations for various natural compounds

- Examines co-delivery of natural and synthetic anticancer drugs for improved efficacy

- This book is useful for researchers and students in oncology, nanotechnology, and pharmaceutical sciences.
