Über Autor(innen)

R. Stephen Berry is a James Franck Distinguished ServiceProfessor Emeritus and member of the Department of Chemistryfaculty at the University of Chicago. He received his BA andPhD from Harvard University. He is a Fellow of the AmericanAcademy of Arts and Sciences, a Foreign Member of the Royal DanishAcademy of Sciences, and has received among various other accoladesthe Alfred P. Sloan Fellow (1962-66). Professor Berry'sresearch explores the topics of structures, properties and dynamicsof clusters and biopolymers, dynamics of few-body systems, andfinite-time thermodynamics.
Joshua Jortner is a Professor Emeritus at the School ofChemistry at Tel Aviv University. He received his Master ofScience in Physical Chemistry and his PhD from the HebrewUniversity in 1960. He is a Fellow of the American PhysicalSociety and a member of the American Chemical Society, and hasreceived a myriad of awards and honorary degrees. Hisresearch includes the exploration of the phenomena of energyacquisition, storage and disposal in isolated molecules, clusters,condensed phases and biophysical systems.
