This book presents a translation and critically edited text of the Radha Tantra, an anonymous 18th century tantric text from Bengal. The text and translation is prefaced by an introduction that situates the text in its social and historical context, as well as discuss its significance. The introduction will also look at the composition and metrics, vocabulary and grammar, and contents and doctrine of the text. The manuscripts used in preparing the critical edition of the text will be discussed, as well as the printing history of the text. The Sanskrit text in Roman transliteration, following the standard IAST system, is presented, followed by an English translation of the text.
