In 2007 he attained his habilitation asProfessor of Organization Studies, the highest academicqualification a person can achieve in Spain. Jaime holds an M.A. inPhilosophy from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada), and a Ph.D.in Economics and Business Administration from the UniversidadAutónoma de Madrid (Spain).
Jaime has written/edited four books, two of them (DirecciónEstratégica de Personas and Dirección dePersonas, with Angel Cabrera) have been best-sellers ina number of Spanish-speaking countries. He has been guest editor ofthree special issues on trends in international human resources andpublished a large number of articles in leading journals,includingOrganization Studies, Human Resource ManagementJournal, The International Journal of HRM, Journal of BusinessResearch, and HRM Review. Jaime is a frequent speaker atacademic and professional conferences and is widely recognized asone of Europe's leading authorities on international human resourcemanagement.
David Lepak, Professor of Human Resource Management,and Chairperson of the Human Resource Management, School ofManagement and Labor Relations, Rutgers University,USA
David received his PhD in management from the PennsylvaniaState University and is a leading scholar in the strategicmanagement of human resources and teaches and conducts research ona variety of human resource topics with dual interests in strategichuman resource management and international human resourcemanagement.
