Dr. Chakoli is a Member of the Scientific Board at the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute (NSTRI), Tehran, Iran, as well as Lecturer at Shahed University, Tehran, Iran. With over 10 years of experience in the research and development of advanced composite materials and structures, smart materials and multifunctional materials, Dr. Chakoli has acted as scientific committee member and secretary for international and national conferences, and has presented over 20 workshops. He has published more than 35 papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings, and is a reviewer for several journals, including RSC Advances and the Journal of Applied Polymer Science. His research interests include biodegradable polymers, shape memory polymers, oxidized regenerated cellulose, collagen, polyimide, poly(L-lactide), poly e-caprolactone, nanomaterials, carbon nanotubes, graphene, polymer composites, and materials analysis and characterization.
