Deniz Cosan Eke (Dr. phil.) works as a post-doc researcher at the Universität Wien in Austria. She completed her PhD thesis at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Germany. Her research interests are transnational migration, social movements, emotion and identity, anthropology of religion, Alevism, and Alevi movement.
