Dr. Rainer Hackel (*1963 in Leipzig) studied in German Language and Literature, Philosophy and Musicology in Frankfurt am Main. He received his doctorate in 2009, Doctoral Thesis covering narrative works by Gertrud Fussenegger. He has published many music critiques in a number of professional journals. He lives in Frankfurt am Main.
