Dr. Sheenam Thatai is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University (Noida) and has previously worked in Banasthali University, Rajasthan. She has completed her Ph.D. at Banasthali University, with research conducted at the Nanophotonics and Nanostructured Lab, Capital Normal University, Beijing under supervision of Prof. Sulabha Kulkarni and Prof. Dinesh Kumar. During her Ph.D. she had been awarded by Young Scientist Awards from Indian Council of Chemists, Indian Chemical Society, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University for oral presentations. She was awarded by Charusat Best Thesis award by Gujarat Science Congress. She is the Laboratory Coordinator of her department. She has contributed to major government-funded projects such as the Centre for Excellence – Energy & Water (MHRD) and Women Technology Park (DST) and has many M.Sc., B.Sc. students & Ph.D. student working under her supervision. With 13 years of teaching experience, she has published 1 book, 23 papers including reviews and 15 book chapters in the reputed Scopus journals. She has 2 patents also to her credit. Her research focusses on nanomaterials for photocatalysis, water purification and sustainable waste management.

Dr. Christine Jeyaseelan is Professor and Head of Department Chemistry at Amity University, Noida. She has been awarded with doctoral degree by Nagpur University and is working in the field of electro-analytical and environmental chemistry and drug analysis. She has written 4 books and has published several papers in national and international journals. She has 3 patents to her credit of which 1 has been granted. Presently she is guiding 2 students for their doctoral thesis and 2 have been awarded. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience along with administrative responsibilities.

Dr. Parul Khurana is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science and Commerce, University of Mumbai [Maharashtra], and has previously worked at K.C. College, Mumbai, and Banasthali University. She is an accomplished academic with over 14 years of experience in research and teaching. She is a CSIR-UGC NET qualifier with an All-India Rank of 12. She completed her Ph.D. at Banasthali University, with research conducted at the Nanophotonics and Nanostructured Lab, Capital Normal University, Beijing.

Dr. Khurana has received nine national awards, including two Young Scientist Awards from the Indian Council of Chemists, and recognition from the Indian Science Congress and Indian Chemical Society. She has contributed to major government funded projects such as the Centre for Excellence – Energy & Water (MHRD) and Women Technology Park (DST) and currently leads RUSA-supported initiatives focused on nanovesicle applications in wastewater treatment.

Her research focuses on nanomaterials for sensors, water purification, and sustainable waste management. She has authored 13 peer-reviewed papers and 23 book chapters. As an editor, she brings expertise in integrating nanotechnology with practical environmental solutions.
