Prof. Tadeusz Kuczynski graduated in 1976 from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Wroclaw University of Technology, where he earned his PhD in 1980 and was awarded the academic title of professor in 2003. Since 1999, he has been associated with the University of Zielona Góra, where he held various leadership positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (2002–2008), Deputy-Rector for Science and International Cooperation (2008–2012), and Rector (2012–2020). His research focuses on indoor climate and energy consumption in buildings, pollutant emissions (particularly nitrogen compounds) and their environmental impact, energy efficiency in buildings, and renewable energy engineering. In the last five years, Prof. Kuczynski has co-authored numerous articles published in leading journals. His active research output, leadership in high-impact projects, and commitment to sustainable development position Prof. Kuczynski as a leading expert in sustainable architecture, energy efficiency, and environmental engineering.
