Dr. Vineet Kumar Rathore is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat (Gujarat), India. He completed his PhD on the topic “Studies on removal of fluoride and arsenic from contaminated water” from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India in 2018. His research interests include the treatment of groundwater and industrial wastewater with the help of technologies such as adsorption, photocatalytic degradation, advanced coagulation, etc., solid waste management, LCA, and the development of advanced materials for environmental applications. He has published 12 SCI/Scopus-indexed publications in highly reputed international journals, authored three book chapters, and participated in several international conferences. He has also developed a novel water treatment system for the removal of extremely hazardous components like arsenic and fluoride from contaminated groundwater and has got this technology patented and is currently under the evaluation phase in the rural areas of Chhattisgarh.

Dr. Nitin Kumar Singh is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Marwadi University, India. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from IIT Roorkee, an M. Tech. in Environmental Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow. His research expertise includes wastewater treatment, waste valorization, green synthesis, environmental monitoring, and sustainability assessment. Dr. Singh has authored 43 SCI-indexed publications (h-index: 26, i10-index: 40), 6 Scopus-indexed papers, 21 book chapters, and 14 conference papers. He has also edited six international books with reputed publishers. He is also part of the Gujarat Pollution Control Board-approved Environmental Audit Team at Marwadi University and serves as a Testing Engineer in an NABL-accredited Chemical Testing Laboratory. His accolades include multiple international travel grants (DST, Indo-EU, MOST Taiwan), innovation awards, and a fellowship from Tata Trusts & Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, GOI. He has presented his research works at global forums in Malaysia, Israel, Taiwan, the UK, and Nepal.
