Rebecca Netzel, born in 1963 in Flensburg (Germany) is a writer, linguist and Indianist. During numerous journeys to the USA, Canada, Mexico and Spain she captured the ambience for her stories that have already been presented in frequent readings, also internationally (Frankfurt and Leipzig Book Fairs/Germany, Literary Summer of Baden-Württemberg, USA: Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park/Chicago. Since 1998 she has been registered in the Encyclopedia of German Writers (Lexikon Deutscher Schriftsteller). There have already been several interviews on the radio (SWR Contra, Hessischer Rundfunk). She is committed to voluntary work for Lakota orphans and environmental protection.
