Dr. Millie Pant is an Associate Professor at the Department of Paper Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) in India. A well-known figure in the field of swarm intelligence and evolutionary algorithms, she has published several research papers in respected national and international journals.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Singla is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. He completed his B.E. in ICE at Thapar University; M.Tech. in Electrical from IIT Roorkee; and Ph.D. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from NIT Jalandhar. His research interests are human–machine interface, rehabilitation engineering and process control. He has published numerous papers in international journals and conference proceedings.

Dr. Om Prakash Verma is an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. Previously, he has also worked at SBIT, Sonepat; Graphic Era University, Dehradun; Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan; and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He completed his M.Tech. in Instrumentation & Control at NIT Jalandhar and Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. He is a reviewer for various international journals and has published numerous papers.

Dr. Tarun Kumar Sharma has a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence as well as M.C.A. and M.B.A. degrees and is currently associated with the Amity University Rajasthan (AUR) in Jaipur. His research interests encompass swarm intelligence, nature-inspired algorithms and their applications in software engineering, inventory systems and image processing. He has published more than 60 research papers in international journals and conferences. He has over 13 years of teaching experience and has also been involved in organizing international conferences. He is a certified internal auditor and a member of the Machine Intelligence Research (MIR) Labs, WA, USA and Soft Computing Research Society, India.

Dr. Afzal Sikander is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the Government Engineering College, Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, and an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Graphic Era University, Uttarakhand, India. He received his B. Tech. degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand, in 2006 and M.Tech. degree from M. D. University, Rohtak, Haryana, with specialization in Instrumentation and Control Engineering in 2011. He also earned a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, with specialization in Control Engineering in 2016.

He has over 10 years of teaching and research experience in the diverse fields of Control Engineering. His areas of interest include control theory and applications, circuit design, model order reduction, optimization, and robotics. He is actively involved in various research and consultancy projects. He has published more than 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences.
