Duarte Miguel F. Prazeres, PhD, DSc, is Associate Professor atthe Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and Senior Researcher atthe Instituto de Biotecnologia e Bioengenharia, both within theUniversidade Técnica de Lisboa. Dr. Prazeres has published 140peer-reviewed articles and fifteen book chapters on such topics asbiocatalysis, downstream processing, and nanobiotechnology.
