Über Autor(innen)

Markus Schröder was born in 1979 and has been living in Hamburg, Germany, since 2006. He studied at the Musicians Institute (M.I.) in Los Angeles, CA, and received Outstanding Student honors. His teachers included Russell Ferrante (Al Jarreau, Joni Mitchell, Yellowjackets) and Roger Burn (Lionel Ritchie, Vanessa Williams, Brian Setzer). Markus is an active teacher at Modern Music School and teaches beginners, intermediates and pros of all ages; he conducts professional workshops and teacher seminars internationally. He caters to any style from rock to jazz as a keyboarder and pianist – live and in the studio.
