Leo Wetzels holds the chair of Romance languages and Amazonian languages at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, The Netherlands and was a Research Director at the Laboratory of Phonetics and Phonology (LPP), CNRS/Sorbonne-Nouvelle in Paris. He is Editor-in-Chief of Probus, International Journal of Latin and Romance Linguistics.

João Costa is Professor at the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal.

Sergio Menuzzi is Professor at the Department of Classical and Vernacular Letters, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil.
