Prof. Dr. Guiqing Yang is Principal Investigator of the “Urban and Rural Development and Rural Planning” research team and the former Dean of the Department of Urban Planning in Tongji University. He was educated at Tongji University, Harvard University, and received his Ph.D. from Tongji University in 2003. The majority of his research focus on Chinese Urbanization, urban and rural residential planning and design, urban and rural community planning, urban sociology, etc. His publications mainly include , ,and over 100 journal articles.
