MIRCEA EREMIA, PhD, is Full Professor in the ElectricalPower Systems Department at the University Politehnica ofBucharest. He has authored or coauthored more than 150 journal andconference papers as well as ten books in the field of electricpower systems. Professor Eremia has extensive experience in powersystem analysis and engineering education.
MOHAMMAD SHAHIDEHPOUR, PhD, is Bodine Chair Professor inthe Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and Director ofthe Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation at IllinoisInstitute of Technology in Chicago. He is Editor-in-Chief ofIEEE Transactions on Smart Grid and an editorial boardmember of IEEE Power and Energy Magazine.
