Sussie Eshun is a licensed psychologist and Professor ofPsychology at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Inaddition to clinical practice, she has several publications on therole of culture in suicide, depression, and stress. She hasdeveloped and taught several courses on culture, adjustment, andhuman development, and is a strong advocate for including empiricalresearch on cultural diversity in the curriculum.
Regan A. R. Gurung is Chair of the Human DevelopmentDepartment and Professor of Human Development and Psychology at theUniversity of Wisconsin, Green Bay. He is also co-Director of theUniversity of Wisconsin Green Bay Teaching Scholars Program and iswinner of the Founder's Award for Excellence in Teaching and theFounder's Award for Excellence in Scholarship. He is also theauthor of Health Psychology: A Cultural Approach (2ndedition) and co-editor of Getting Culture: IncorporatingDiversity across the Curriculum (2009).
