Brid Featherstone is Professor of Social Work and SocialPolicy at the University of Bradford. Her research interestsinclude gender and child welfare, with a specific interest infathering.
Carol-Ann Hooper is a senior lecturer in Social Policy atthe University of York. Her research and teaching focus onthe overlapping fields of child welfare, crime and gender.
Jonathan Scourfield is Reader in Social Work at CardiffSchool of Social Sciences. His research interests cover gender,child welfare, children's identities, and suicide.
Julie Taylor is Professor of Family Health and ResearchDean in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University ofDundee. She is associate editor of Child Abuse Review,co-founding member of the Scottish Child Care and ProtectionNetwork, and Fellow of the European Academy of Nursing Science.
