Tara Fenwick is Professor of Professional Education inthe School of Education at the University of Stirling, UK. She waspreviously Head of Educational Studies at the University of BritishColumbia, Canada. The director of ProPEL, an international networkresearching professional practice, education and learning, she hasa particular interest in professionals' knowledge sources andstrategies, and the changing nature of professionalresponsibility.
Richard Edwards is Professor of Education and Head of theSchool of Education at the University of Stirling, and previouslyspent 12 years as a lecturer, senior lecturer and reader withthe Open University. He has written extensively on adult educationand lifelong learning.
Tara Fenwick and Richard Edwards are the authors ofActor-Network Theory in Education (2010) and, with PeterSawchuk, of Emerging Approaches to Educational Research: Tracingthe Sociomaterial (2011).
