Virat  Khanna is serving as Associate dean, Research and Development, Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. He is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 15  years of experience in higher education and scientific research. He has authored more than 80 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCI, Scopus, and Web of Science. His research contributions span nanotechnology, materials science, and sustainable development. He has served as an editor for multiple books and conference proceedings with leading international publishers, including Springer, CRC Press, IGI Global, and Bentham Science. He is actively involved in scholarly publishing and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports (Nature Group) and Discover Nano (Springer). Additionally, he holds the position of Academic Editor for Journal of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, both published by Wiley. As a recognized leader in his field, Dr. Khanna is the Book Series Editor for Recent Advances in Materials for Nanotechnology, published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis). He has also guest-edited several special issues for renowned international journals, including those published by Springer and De Gruyter. He has delivered numerous invited seminars, keynote addresses, and workshops at prestigious international conferences. His contributions to research and academia have been recognized with multiple best research paper awards

Shweta Dang is a Professor in Biotechnology, Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology, with 19 plus years of experience in Teaching and Research. She has worked as a research scientist in Jubilant Life Sciences for the US regulatory market. She has worked on eight major research projects financed and supported by Government Agencies like ICMR, DBT, and CSIR as PI and Co-PI/Mentor. She has been an invited speaker at national and international forums, Seminars, and Conferences globally. Her research article “Nose-to-brain delivery of lamotrigine loaded PLGA nanoparticles” was featured in the India Science Wire, Vigyan Prasar, 2019. Her research paper, published in the Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, was awarded the Prof. M.L. Khorana IJPS Best Paper award for the year 2018. She has more than 80 research publications in journals of repute with close to 5500 citations and an h-index of 29. She has more than 30 research theses super vised at graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. She has three Indian patents granted, and she has contributed 18 book chapters. 

Alka Ahuja is a Professor and Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Pharmacy, National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (in academic partnership with West Virginia University, USA). She chairs the college’s Research and Innovation Committee. She is an editorial board member of several peer-reviewed journals and an invited speaker at national and international forums. Her research has been cited in leading scientific texts, including Bioadhesive Drug Delivery Systems: Fundamentals, Novel Approaches, and Development, edited by Edith Mathiowitz (Marcel Dekker, New York), and numerous high-impact journals. She has led major research initiatives funded by ICMR, UGC, DST, AICTE (India), and MOHERI (Oman). Her contributions have earned her several prestigious honors, including the IDMA-G.P. Nair Award, AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers, Asian Education Leadership Award, Global Education Leadership Award, and the Academic Excellence Award, to name a few. With over 250 research publications, she has guided undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research. She has also worked on consultancy projects funded by a Scottish company and is the author or co-author of 11 books in various areas of pharmaceutical sciences.
