Cyber feminism seeks to promote the rights of women who are victims of social media. Social media is considered to be beneficial in some ways, however, it has various negative impacts. Some people fall victims to criminal activities like cyberbullying, cyber trolling, online pornography, etc. which can affect victims’ mental health and their reputation. Increasing awareness to the risks of social media and ways to avoid these risks would help protect potential victims.

The objective of this book is to educate readers about the types of social media victimization through case analyses, and to suggest ways to curb digital violence.  This book could contribute to cyber based education, by exploring the cultural and societal aspects of cyber-security across genders. And discussing the role of technology in preventing gender violence on social media.
