Über Autor(innen)

Nicholas Rockwell received his BA and MA from CSU, Fresno and his PhD from UCLA. His research focuses on the connections between military and political developments in the ancient world, and he is currently working on a monograph about the citizen-soldier in antiquity. He has taught at UCLA and the University of Denver with courses on ancient Greece, Rome, Near East, Egypt, comparative history, and warfare and politics.
