Christos Nifadopoulos

Christos Nifadopoulos is Group General Counsel at Rokos Capital Management, heading up the Legal and Compliance functions. Until 2021 he was Managing Director and Senior Counsel in the Legal Department of Goldman Sachs and headed the Equities Sales and Trading and Derivatives Legal Group in EMEA. He also had legal oversight of Global Investment Research of GS in EMEA and served as counsel to several committees of the firm. Christos joined Goldman Sachs in 2009 and became senior counsel in 2011. He was named managing director in 2015. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Christos was a financial regulation lawyer at Clifford Chance for five years. Before that, he was a junior research fellow at the University of Bristol. Christos is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He holds an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge.
