Prof. Oliver Kayser studied pharmacy at the University Münster. He received his PhD and his postdoctoral qualification (Habilitation) from the Free University Berlin in 1997 and 2003. In 2004 he was appointed Assistant Professor at the University Groningen for Pharmaceutical Biology. His research interests are phytochemstry, combinatorial biosynthesis and plant biotechnology. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers and proceedings and has authored and edited 5 books.
Professor Wim Quax is head of the laboratory of pharmaceutical biology in the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy in the Netherlands. He has published more than 70 peer reviewed papers, and is member of numerous scientific organisations and committees.
