George Kozmetsky was an eductor and entrepreneur, and held the Murray S. Johnson Chair in Economics. His accomplishments included leadership at Litton's Computer and Control Division and co-founding Teledyne, Inc. Dr. Kozmetsky passed away on April 30, 2003. Piyu Yue began working as a research assistant to Kozmetsky while pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Texas. She is currently researching the new stage of American capitalism, the changing structure of the global economy and the underlying forces driving the surge of globalization.
