CCXI) an und setzt zusammen mit einem weiteren, die Petrusbriefe behandelnden Band die Begriffsfeld-Analyse der Vulgata fort. Das Buch bietet einen begriffsorientierten Index zu der lateinischen VulgataÜbersetzung des Markus-Evangeliums. Der Index ist nach begrifflichen (oder semantischen) Feldern geordnet, so dass der Leser alle diejenigen im Text verwendeten Wörter auf einen Blick erkennen kann, die mit einem bestimmten Begriff verbunden sind - zum Beispiel alle Wörter, die mit 'Moral' zu tun haben. Vollständig erschlossen sind die Stellen, an denen die einzelnen Wörter auftreten, und die Häufigkeit ihres Auftretens. Hat ein Wort mehrere Bedeutungen, gibt es Querverweise zu den anderen Eintragungen. Ein zusätzlicher alphabetischer Index erlaubt dem Nutzer die Untersuchung des begrifflichen Spielraums von mehrdeutigen Wörtern.

Following on from the first author’s previous book (Conceptual Glossary and Index to the Vulgate Translation of the Gospel According to John; Alpha-Omega, Series A, Vol. CCXI), and simultaneously with a further work treating the Petrine Epistles, this volume continues with the conceptualfield analysis of the Vulgate Bible. The book presents a concept-oriented index to the Latin Vulgate translation of the Gospel according to Mark. The index is arranged according to a set of conceptual (or semantic) fields, so that the user can see at a glance all words used by the text that are connected with a specific concept - e.g. all words to do with morality. Full references are given to the locations of individual word occurrences in the text and frequency information is also included. Where a word has more than one meaning, the other entries are cross-referenced. A further, alphabetic index allows users to examine the conceptual range of ambiguous words.
