Giardino, Eileen
Eileen Giardino is a nurse practitioner and an associate professor at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is the track director of the Family Nurse Practitioner program, teaches both graduate and undergraduate students at the university, and works as a nurse practitioner in Student Health. She has published in the area of child and adult sexual abuse and currently lectures on the evaluation of intimate partner violence and suspected child abuse to nursing and nurse practitioner students. Eileen Giardino received her BSN and PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, her MSN at Widener University, and Nurse Practitioner Certification in Adult and Family at La Salle University in Philadelphia, where she also received SANE training.

Giardino, Angelo P.
Angelo Giardino is the medical director of Texas Children's Health Plan, a clinical associate professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, and an attending physician for the Texas Children's Hospital's forensic pediatrics service at the Children's Assessment Center in Houston, Texas. Angelo Giardino completed his residency and fellowship training in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Immediately after his fellowship training, Angelo Giardino became the assistant, and then the associate, medical director at Health Partners of Philadelphia, where he had primary responsibility for utilization management, intensive case management, and health care data analysis.

Fay-Hillier, Theresa M.
Theresa Fay-Hillier is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. She received her Master's Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Family University. She is currently enrolled in the DrPH program in the School of Public Health Community Health and Prevention at Drexel University. She is a board certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has a certification in using the Danger Assessment Tool.

Burgess, Ann
Ann Burgess is an internationally recognized pioneer in the assessment and treatment of victims of trauma and abuse. She has received several honors for her work including the Sigma Theta Tau International Audrey Hepburn Award, the American Nurses’ Association Hildegard Peplau Award, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Episteme Laureate Award. Her research with victims began when she co-founded one of the first hospital-based crisis counseling programs at Boston City Hospital with Boston College sociologist, Lynda Lytle Holmstrom. Since then, she has worked with the FBI Academy special agents to study serial offenders and the links between child abuse, juvenile delinquency, and subsequent perpetration.

Clements, Paul
Paul Thomas Clements is an Associate Clinical Professor. A psychiatric / forensic specialist, he is additionally a Certified Gang Specialist and Certified in Danger Assessment. His clinical experience includes serving as Assistant Director/Bereavement Therapist at the Homicide Bereavement Center at the Office of the Medical Examiner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he was appointed as the Director of Operations for the City of Philadelphia Department of Public Health. He is an experienced therapist, forensic consultant, and critical incident/trauma response specialist with over 20 years experience in management/administration and crisis intervention. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychiatric Forensic Nursing from The University of Pennsylvania.
