Kenneth K. Mwenda

Professor Kenneth K. Mwenda is a Rhodes Scholar, recipient of the Presidential Insignia for Meritorious Achievement for his outstanding scholarly work, and alumnus of the University of Oxford and Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government. He has served as Senior Counsel at the World Bank and is currently the Executive Head of the World Bank’s Voice Secondment Program in Washington DC, USA. He is Extraordinary Professor of Law at the University of Western Cape, South Africa, and Extraordinary Professor of Law at the University of Lusaka, Zambia. He has also previously served as Extraordinary Professor of Law at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and has taught at American University Washington College of Law, Washington DC as Adjunct Professor of Law and at the University of Warwick, UK. Professor Mwenda has also served as Visiting Full Professor of Law at a number of universities, including the University of Miskolc, Hungary and the University of Cape Town. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Professor Mwenda is author of 28 scholarly books and more than a hundred articles in academic journals.
